London

I have always wanted to see those big wide screen that says "TDK and Sanyo".Though it looks like similar to Japan's city center ( Never been to Japan either) It should have been, "Rover and Primark?" hahahahaha. Well, it was a very tiring weekend to see London. And mind you, our accommodation is not even in London (shhh...its in Wembley, just beside the Wimbley stadium). But no hassle at all, the transportation is great and accessible. It's true to what they say about Wembley (keep it yourself Jade, lol).
It would have been a great ride in the underground tube but the heat is maaaad!! Another hour in the tube you will cry for deodorant spray, lol. All walks of life, working people, parents with kids, tourist, students and erm...hoodies?LOL.And what more can you ask for... a man seating in front sneezed! Yeah, that's the climax of the visit, Swine flu, grrrr.Fortunately 7days after, no symptoms.Happy days. Duuuude!! stop holding the escalator handle. after 20 times of shouting, it finally registered in his frontal lobe, lol. West end is the place to be if you have a soft spot in musical or theatres. And definitely "WE WILL ROCK YOU " is one of the best. Wouldn't be surprise if you will sing along with the rest of the crowd. One thing I can only say, you need a good pair of walking shoes as the tourist attraction is a mile away (might not be true) from each other. And night time is the best way to see it. As they say, London is expensive, and I wouldn't argue with that.Thought the drinks are not that bad, you need few top ups before getting legless, lol. Alan dude suggested Maze Grill as the final destination for good food. It's one of *@~?^!! Gordon Ramsey's chain of resto,LOL. I don't think the swearing helps the food taste good tho. And talking about food, if you come across an Italian restaurant in West End, as much as possible don't order the salad. It was the worst salad I have ever tasted. Even the goats would hate it.The worst Bruschetta ever, like eating a brick!! Until now, can't get over with it,LOL.The other food might be nice but will I ever go back to that place again? No way jose'!!
London is a great place to spend time but have extra quid handy, just in case. Will I go back and see London again?Yes siree! The weather was very good and it did really helps the visit worthwhile. The Oyster card, (which I suggest you have to have one.),Tower of London, Buckingham Palace,London Eye,Tower Bridge,Big Ben,West End and so on and on....(tho I want to see whats inside BP, maybe next time.) Over and Out!

Lughole Plug

If you have one let me have it. Imagine if you wake up 3am and all you can hear is a scream and shouting and singing ave maria!!! waaaaa help! Should I knock or bang the wall? Maybe not. 10 versus 1, not a good idea. Although the last resort is polizei, but then again being " bagong salta" in the area is not a right move to complain, well not just yet,LOL. Luckily it was Monday the following day and my day off or else I will be at work with baggy eyes, yikes! it might not be one off so if ever you have a lughole plug, drop one in my letter box and will surely use it in the future.

Skiing ( 97 to go...)

It was evening when we arrived in Soll, Austria. Snowing, and a little peach black. Went straight to the accommodation unpack, and a few minutes rest then head to the local restaurant/bar. Beer please! unfortunately not in German language, sigh! The place was packed with ski enthusiast still on their ski gear (stinky gits, lol) Explore the area after a few pints and food. Looks alright but wont see the whole area 'til the following day.

Hiring ski gear is fantastic ( Alan did all the bookings tho, thanks dude). Just collect the stuff and head to the ski area. The orientation for beginner(that's me) was 9am but....yeees, we arrived late as we did not wear our ski gear and have to go back to the accommodation(silly dudes) It was cold, freezing, ice cold weather but both sweating like we we're in Sahara, lol. Alan did the snow boarding and moi did the ski. Thank goodness I wasn't the only one late. Hello everyone!! My name is Petra, I'm your instructor for the whole 4day course. Nice lady and very friendly, very good instructor. And shouted,Now move your a***, and listen!(just making it up,lol). "Javol" (Yes, indeed) and well done Jade.Felt like I'm 7 years old, lol. The group consist mainly guys from Ireland, surprisingly quite a few in the crowd(feels like I'm in Dublin) Putting on the ski is not that easy as putting your socks on, especially when you don't have the right balance.Phew!! I can't count how many times I was on my backside, grrr.

First day was absolute burnt-out.Need more than a pint of bier and a big snore after, lol. The second day was not so bad as breakfast already prepared (it's b&b jade, duh!). "Bitte Schön", the only word the host can only utter no matter if you ask for a water, lol.Nice lady tho. This time I made it to the training area on time and so as Alan dude. Managed to keep up with the training with less fall and even took some few photos to keep.Started to feel the legs getting sore as the training gets harder and harder. But as they say, "walang tiyaga, walang nilaga".And I'm sure Alan is having a nice time too,(not, lol)

I have to do it, i have to do..i have to.....ZZzzzzz(snoring).Just can't help it. Well, that was after a few drinks tho.Haven't tried the Jägermeister this time. Our group made it to the blue slope(that's for the beginners) and never wasted a minute. Up and down, bend your knee, lean forward, feet together, turn left, turn right and Plow or "get out of my way!!!"Imagine in tin pin bowling, you're the ball and the other member of group as the pins, in the bottom of the slope.Yeah, that would be your worst nightmare. Sorry, whatever her name was, lol! Right guys, proceed to the Gondola. Eh? is that a place for dining? NO, I didn't ask them, just followed my group( as if I know,LOL)Damn..I said to myself, it's a cable car you silly bugger, hahaha. Meaning we are going to the very top of the slope and ski down to the bottom??? This is it, this is what I have been waiting for. Only to realize I was only dreaming, grrr. Exhaustion taking its tool, lol. It was a great feeling to ski down the slope without a single fall. The 4th day was the final day of the course and so be it! I will wait you guys down in the bottom of the slope, jmj and the donkey! In one instance the instructor said, Jade, can you lead the group on the way down to the bottom?ME? are you being funny?(well, she's not, grrr)Oh my word!! right people, follow me, If I fall, you fall, If i roll, you roll, If I jump, it's up to you, hahahaha. Not so bad actually, none of them got a broken bone. The following day was a different story as I didn't know where the rest of the people from my group went to ( nice one jaeger).http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvuvZk2GerY The video link will show how we really enjoyed the trip. Alan dude enjoyed his first ever snow boarding and mind you he said, he will do the skiing next time, lol.Great fun, fantastic experience and will surely do it again, intermediate this time, hmmm.

Segway (98 and counting..)

Segway-It looks like a toy but it's not a toy, but not really, (you know what I mean?)Needs balance enable for you to maneuver and let it run. It's powered by electric, charge for few hours and broom broom, ehem, it doesn't sound like that, thankfully. Amazingly, only a wee bit of sound you can hear.As long as you don't drive the machine on sitting position, you will be alright. Drove a few places in the city center of Barcelona.I was enjoying the ride as well as the fantastic scenery of the well known Barcelona. "Ola senior" get out of my way! was actually talking to myself, lol. It's not as complicated as it looks, even grandma can ride and use it(haven't seen anyone tho) Provided, they don't have bilateral hip replacement, ops! So, try one, enjoy and have fun. It has to be legalize in UK,soon, please. Will definitely have one(just wishing).Great as alternative for Translink.

Parasailing ( 99 more to go...)

A person sails through the sky whilst attached
to a parachute and towed by a boat. Yeeep! that's me on the pic. Scary in some way as you
never know if the rope is strong enough to hold
the parachute and me. Thank goodness I'm not
16 stone, lol (they say, that's the weight limit), no offense. Make sure you strap yourself nice and tight (not too tight like what they did to me,lol)It was comfortable at first but as the rope been towed farther, i felt discomfort around my groin!! Aye, my b***ks were....yes, you are right! Oh the pain!!

Both swimmers and non-swimmers are nevertheless required to wear lifejackets in the rare events of an operation malfunction or sudden weather change, now that's alarming, lol when they might end up in the water, getting worse, lol.

As soon as you are 1,000 feet up in the air, mind you it was great feeling. All you need to do is to imagine you are flying, like superman, do you know superman?lol. Just imagine you have wings (it's ok, it is safe as you are tied up safely).Just enjoy and relax and appreciate the great view. Will I do it again? I would if it goes as far as 2,000 feet!!!
